Meet Your Coaches

Dr. Ellen M. Pope, OTD/OTR, is an occupational therapist with over 35 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, including those with special needs. She holds a clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy and is a Family Sleep Institute Certified Sleep Coach. A former clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Ellen has been a trusted educator in the field.
Dr. Brittany Huntington, OTD/OTR, is an occupational therapist (OTR/L) and registered nurse (RN). She received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from the University of Kansas in 2024 and has been a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Family Sleep Institute since 2024. Prior to pursuing her occupational therapy degree, she worked as a pediatric registered nurse and continues to hold an active nursing license. As part of her doctoral capstone project, Brittney dove deep into all things sleep and provided parent coaching to address sleep concerns through Early Intervention services alongside her mentor. Currently, Brittney works as an occupational therapist in school-based practice as well as working with families to address sleep concerns through her private practice, Equipped for Sleep. She is passionate about educating on the importance of sleep and coming alongside families to equip and empower them with evidence-based strategies to overcome sleep challenges through an occupational therapy lens.
